Is your child the biggest LEGO® fan? We are seeking  twelve imaginative and enthusiastic children aged 6 to 12 to be part of our Creative Crew!

What is the Creative Crew?

Twelve lucky LEGO gurus will form an exclusive ‘creative crew’ and will be invited to attend special VIP days, preview events and one-on-one building classes with unlimited access to the new LEGOLAND Discovery Centre all year. They’ll be the first to test out and explore the attraction and provide key insights throughout the year to help make LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne as bricktastic as possible. They'll build and test new models for events, report on what’s new and share top tips on everything at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre—from the best seat in the LEGO 4D Cinema to how to get the highest score on our LEGO-themed Kingdom Quest ride

How do I join?

We are hosting a contest from 10 March – 31 March to find our Creative Crew members! Interested children must build an original LEGO model and have a 30 second video posted to Facebook or Instagram (with permission via a parent or guardians account) showing off their model and answering the question, “Why do you want to be in the Creative Crew?” You must include #CreativeCrewMelb in the Facebook or Instagram post to enter your video. Videos can be posted on the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne Facebook page, or onto a personal Facebook or Instagram page. 

Submissions will be evaluated based on the creativity and enthusiasm in the child’s response, along with the imagination conveyed in the child’s LEGO model. Points will also be given for social engagement, so share your post with family and friends to get likes or re-posts on your video!



Terms and conditions:

  • Only one entry per child is permitted
  • The child entrant must receive permission from their parent or guardian to enter the competition. 
  • The child entrant must be aged between 6-12 years at the time of entry. 
  • The post must be publicly accessible with the hashtag #CreativeCrewMelb between 10 March - 31 March 2017 to be entered into the competition. 
  • The final decision for successful Creative Crew members resides with the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre management team.
  • Children will be invited to special events at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and will be encouraged to make themselves available to attend.
  • By applying, the applicant must agree that their submission video can be used for marketing and publicity purposes.
  • Successful applicants must agree that images or footage of themselves, as a Creative Crew member can be used for marketing and publicity purposes.
  • Successful applicants will be a member of the Creative Crew 2017 until 11 April 2018. 
  • Winners will be contacted via Facebook or Instagram before 11 April 2017. 
  • Winners will be given 2 LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Annual Passes for a guardian/parent and the child, a LEGOLAND Discovery Centre t-shirt, and name badge.
